George Gerard : ウィキペディア英語版 | George Gerard The Rt Rev George Vincent Gerard, MC, CBE (24 November 1898 – 14 January 1984)〔''Obituary Right Rev G. V. Gerard'' The Times Wednesday, Jan 18, 1984; pg. 12; Issue 61741; col G〕 was the 7th Anglican Bishop of Waiapu, serving from 1938 to 1944. He was educated at Christ's College, Canterbury and Brasenose College, Oxford. After wartime service with the Buffs he was ordained in 1923 〔Crockford's Clerical Directory1940-41 Oxford, OUP,1941〕 and embarked on his ecclesiastical career with a curacy in Timaru.
